This site is built to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the same standard
we sell, which means we do not get to be an exception to it.
── What we test, and how
Every page is checked automatically on every change: contrast is
measured in a real browser rather than estimated, headings are
checked for order, images for alt text, controls for labels and
keyboard operation.
Beyond the automatic checks, we test by keyboard, with a screen
reader, at 200% zoom, and at a 320-pixel width.
── Where we currently fall short
Audited 21 August 2026, on every page of this site.
Automated testing (axe-core, WCAG 2.1 A and AA rules) reports one
outstanding item, and it is a limitation of the tool rather than a
defect we have found by hand:
The clock in the phone demonstration is drawn as an overlay on
top of the phone's own dark header. Automated checking cannot
resolve what sits behind an absolutely-positioned element, so it
measures the page background instead and reports a contrast
failure. Checked by eye and by pixel, the text is white on a dark
navy header and reads correctly. We are leaving the note here
rather than deleting it, because a statement that quietly drops
the things it cannot prove is not worth reading.
Fixed on the same day, and recorded here so the list is not
suspiciously empty:
Ten contrast failures on this page: the labels and values in
the publishing form, and a gold used at small sizes in the
demonstration app. All were text colours meant for a dark
background that ended up on a light one. Now 4.65:1 or better.
We have not yet had this site tested by a person who uses a screen
reader daily. That is the gap we would most like to close, and we
would rather say so than imply otherwise.
