── Aegisaur Alerts SMS Terms and Conditions
Aegisaur Alerts is an opt-in text message notification service
operated by Tyrannosaurx LLC, doing business as Aegisaur, on behalf
of participating public agencies: school districts, cities,
counties, utilities, libraries, parks and fire districts ("the
Agency"). Messages carry public operational and safety information
published by the Agency: closures, delays, service disruptions,
severe-weather notices and emergency instructions. Every message
identifies the Agency that issued it.
This is a notification-only service. It is not marketing. We do not
conduct two-way conversations, apart from the STOP and HELP keywords.
── How you opt in
You receive messages only after giving prior express consent, by
either submitting the subscription form on the Agency's website and
confirming the double opt-in reply, or texting the published join
keyword to our number.
An Agency may enroll you only when it already holds your prior
express consent to receive these SMS messages, for example a signed
form that named SMS and disclosed frequency, rates, HELP and STOP. A
roster, utility-account or enrollment record by itself is not
consent. You would still receive a confirmation text you can STOP.
Consent is never a condition of receiving any other service from the
Agency. We do not buy, rent or scrape phone numbers.
── Message frequency
Message frequency varies. Routine periods may produce no messages at
all. A closure or emergency may produce several messages in a short
period, including corrections and all-clear notices.
── Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Neither Aegisaur nor the Agency
charges for the messages; your mobile carrier's standard rates for
text messages and data apply according to your plan.
── How to stop
Reply STOP to any message to end all messages from that program. You
will receive one confirmation and then nothing further. You may
rejoin at any time by opting in again.

── Delivery is not guaranteed
Text messaging is a best-effort transport. Carriers may delay, filter
or fail to deliver messages, and delivery depends on your device,
your carrier and network conditions.
Do not rely on text messages as your only source of emergency
information. Every alert is also published on the Agency's website
and in the Agency's mobile app, which are the authoritative record.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Supported U.S. carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless,
U.S. Cellular, Google Fi, and other carriers participating in 10DLC.
Carrier participation may change. Carriers are not liable for delayed
or undelivered messages.
── Privacy
Your mobile number and consent record are handled as described in our
SMS Privacy Policy at https://aegisaur.com/sms-privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates
for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories in that
policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent;
this information will not be sold, rented, or shared with any third
party for marketing or promotional purposes.
